For in-person personal trainers

Run the whole session from one hand.

PlanFlow Trainer is the app you actually use during the session — log a set in a few taps with last week already loaded, and see a client's injuries before you load the bar.

  • Quick one-handed logging
  • Injuries on the screen
  • Every set saves itself

Try the live demo with sample clients — no signup, no card. Founding pricing is locked for life for the first 50 trainers, or anyone in before Sept 1, 2026 — whichever comes first.

AI gives general training ideas — not medical advice. It suggests; you approve every change.

Meet the Advisor — scripted demo of real flows. In the app it reads that client's actual logged data, and actions only run after you tap Approve.

Everyone else built for selling programs online. This is for the hour you're on the floor.

Pro · client billing

Your clients' money never touches us.
That's how the fee is 0%.

PlanFlow Trainer isn't a payment processor and doesn't want to be one. Your clients keep paying you exactly how they already do — Venmo, Zelle, Square, cash, a card reader at the front desk. PlanFlow Trainer's job is the part you actually lose sleep over: who's paid, who owes, and proving it.

  1. Set the price on the package. "10 sessions · $500" — package templates remember it for next time.
  2. Client pays you directly. However you like. PlanFlow Trainer never routes, holds, or sees the money.
  3. Record it in seconds. Amount, date, method (cash, card, e-transfer), optional note. Price / Paid / Owes updates on the client's card, with a progress bar.
  4. Email the receipt. One tap sends the client a receipt; the payment history shows it was sent. Sessions count down as you finish them.

your ENTIRE top plan

Their cut alone costs 3× your whole subscription — before you even pay their monthly fee on top. Here you pay 0% of your revenue. Forever. On every plan.

Where that comes from: TrueCoach takes 5% of every payment collected through its platform — that's the $300/month above, on a $6,000/month book. Trainerize sells payments as a +$10/mo add-on; Everfit charges +$9/mo plus 3.15% + 30¢ per card. PlanFlow Trainer Pro is one flat price and 0% of your revenue — forever. PlanFlow Trainer vs TrueCoach, Trainerize, PT Distinction & Everfit

What they do. What we do. What we skip on purpose.

These are good platforms — for online coaching. This chart is what matters when you're standing next to the client, in the room. The last three rows are things we skip on purpose.

Coaching online? Go use TrueCoach or Trainerize — they're built for it, and you'll be happier there. This app is for the floor. If you're not standing next to your client, it isn't for you — and that's fine. Spend the fees; we'll be here if you ever come in off the internet.

Every price below is from each company's own published pricing page, checked July 2026. Prices change — so we linked straight to the source. Verify any number that matters to you, and if we've fallen out of date, tell us and we'll fix it. Their pricing pages: TrueCoach · Trainerize · PT Distinction · Everfit

Those last three rows are cut on purpose. Nutrition plans, a huge video library, and a separate branded client app are built for online coaching — delivering programs to people you rarely see. Standing next to your client, you don't reach for them mid-session, so we left them out to keep PlanFlow Trainer fast and a fraction of the price. If you coach remotely and want those tools, one of the others is the better buy — and we'll tell you so. PlanFlow Trainer prices shown at the standard rate, founding rate noted. Competitor figures are their own published monthly pricing (links above), checked July 2026. Trainerize's pricing runs on a sliding client-count scale — figures shown are their published tiers and the 50-client point is approximate. TrueCoach's 5% applies to payments collected through its platform.

The AI advisor — privacy

Ask about the plateau. Keep the person out of it.

You met the Advisor at the top of the page. Here's the part that matters with real clients: what it sees, and what it never does. It suggests; you decide. Skip it entirely and the app works exactly the same.

  • Names, emails, phone numbers and exact dates are stripped on our servers before anything reaches the AI. Clients get placeholder labels.
  • The AI sees the training data — the sets, the goals, the injury notes — never who they belong to.
  • If an identifier slips the scrub, the question is blocked, not sent. Fail closed, per client, only with that client's consent.
  • Every action needs your tap. The AI proposes; nothing is added, edited or archived until you hit Approve — and every action is logged.

The full pipeline — including its known limits — is spelled out in our Privacy Policy. We'd rather under-promise here. Each client consents before the AI ever sees their data.

Questions

The short version.

Is this for online coaching?
No — and that's the point. TrueCoach, Trainerize and PT Distinction are built for selling programs to remote clients. PlanFlow Trainer is built for the hour you're standing next to someone: one-handed logging, injuries on-screen, packages counting down.
What's the best personal trainer app for in-person sessions?
It depends what you do. If you sell programs to remote clients, TrueCoach or Trainerize will serve you better. If you train people face-to-face and need one-handed session logging, injury notes on the screen, package countdowns and progress charts — that's exactly what PlanFlow Trainer is built for. Try the live demo and judge in a minute.
How much does personal trainer software cost?
Mainstream platforms run roughly $26–$165+/month depending on how many clients you carry, and some add payment cuts or paid add-ons. PlanFlow Trainer is flat: $19–$99/mo standard across four plans, with a founding rate of $9–$59/mo locked for life for the first 50 trainers or until Sept 1, 2026 — whichever comes first. Unlimited clients from the Studio plan up. Try the live demo first — no signup or card.
Does it work with no signal in the gym?
It installs to your home screen and opens instantly like a native app — no app store. Logging currently needs a live connection to save; a full offline mode — log with no signal, sync when you reconnect — is in development.
What does the AI actually see?
The training data — sets, goals, injury notes — with names, emails, phone numbers and exact dates stripped on our servers first, and only for clients who've consented. If an identifier can't be scrubbed, the question is blocked instead of sent. Full details and known limits are in the Privacy Policy.
How do payments work?
Your clients keep paying you however they already do — Venmo, Zelle, Square, cash. Pro just records it, sends receipts, and tracks the package. We never touch the money and never take a percentage.

Your next session deserves a better clipboard.

The demo is the real app with sample clients loaded. Open it on your phone and log a set — you'll get it in about ten seconds.
